Citronella is perfect for indoor and outdoor misting and provides a fresh, invigorating scent that eliminates unpleasant odours. Citronella is an important ingredient in many Young Living products such as the Purification oil blend.

Cymbopogon nardus is a special type of lemongrass known as citronella that grows up to 2 metres tall.

The origin of this species is believed to be Indonesia. Citronella produces a fragrant essential oil.

The essential oil mainly contains geraniol, geranyl acetate and limonene.
