Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood (Santalum peniculatum)

Characteristic of Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood is a strong, sweet, warm, woody-scented aroma with sensual, romantic undertones.

The Santalum paniculatum tree grows only in the Hawaiian Islands. Young Living has an exclusive partnership with a 2,000-acre farm there that uses only sustainable reforestation methods.

The oil is traditionally used in meditation. It is calming and restorative and is also highly valued for skin care due to its moisturising properties.

Although the ingredients are largely the same as in Santalum album, Santalum paniculatum has a more balanced composition and structure as well as a gentler, more pleasant aroma.
