Myrrh is characterised by a lush, smoky, balsamic scent character. The aroma has a purifying, restorative and invigorating effect.

The Bible already says that the Three Wise Men brought myrrh to the newborn Jesus. You can see that myrrh is a very old medicinal plant.

This wonderful soft and fine fragrance is therefore often used as a top note of perfumes.

It is good for meditation because of its rich content of sesquiterpenes (a compound that has a direct effect on the seat of emotions in the brain).

The Arabs used myrrh for wrinkled and cracked skin. Today, myrrh is often used in oral care products.
